BangTower is a progressive musical alliance featuring legendary bassist Percy Jones, Grammy winning guitarist/engineer/producer Neil Citron and LA "Drum Guru" Walter Garces. Work on their maiden voyage, produced by Jon Pomplin (Declassified Records), and Neil Citron (who also engineered, mixed and mastered), was recently completed and the album is slated for release by Declassified Records in summer 2010. With Percy's unmistakable bass sound percolating next to Walter's harmonic cannons and implements of percussive wonder, an edgy yet incredibly dreamy, otherworldly texture becomes prominent throughout the mix. Neil's unique guitar work takes full advantage of this partnership by blending gorgeous chordal interludes, amazing melodic passages interlaced with scathingly insane soloing. The key element in this "trio of masters" music can be best described with one word; rapport. Though Jones, Garces and Citron are all virtuosos in their own right, it's quite evident that these players are enthusiastically enjoying the crafting of this music whether together in a top studio like Entourage in LA, or remotely via their own studios, it promises to be a most auspicious first-outing for a band simply known as... "BangTower."

BANGTOWER RELEASE UPDATE

BangTower has completed work their debut album to be released on Declassified Records this summer. Originally titled "Simple Harmonic Motion", the album has taken on new vibe with the addition of the "Cali" sessions @ Entourage studios in LA. As a result, we are reconsidering the title which will be announced with the official release dates SOON. A short video introduction currently in production and is coming soon from Declassified.TV. WAVES TO HOST "WEBINAR" WITH NEIL CITRON JUNE 9

WAVES, one of the best known and widely accepted professional DAW plug-in manufacturer, will be host a new "Webinar" featuring Grammy award winning BangTower guitarist Neil Citron on June 9, 2010. Neil will be covering the WAVES GTR3 product which he extensively consulted on. GTR3 was used by Neil and Jon in various phases of the upcoming BangTower release from pre-production onward.
